My Approach

Therapy is not about fixing you or telling you how to live your life. It is about creating a safe and supportive space to better understand yourself and move toward what truly matters.

My work is grounded in a client‑centred, trauma‑informed, and integrative framework. A key focus is helping you clarify your values, emotional needs, and deeper motivations, so that change is not just about managing symptoms, but about living in a way that feels more meaningful and aligned.

I work in an integrative way, drawing primarily on the following evidence‑informed approaches, which form the main foundations of my practice:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Mindfulness‑based approaches

  • Schema Therapy

  • Attachment‑informed therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT‑informed)

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Family Systems Therapy

As an integrative therapist, I also draw on other therapeutic approaches where relevant, adapting the work to your goals, needs, and readiness for change rather than applying a one‑size‑fits‑all model. Therapy is collaborative, paced to suit you, and responsive as your needs evolve.
