What to expect
Starting therapy can feel uncertain, especially if you are not sure what to expect. My aim is to make the experience feel as safe, respectful, and steady as possible.
Sessions with me are collaborative rather than directive. We work together to understand what has brought you to therapy and to clarify what feels most important to focus on. I will not rush you or push you to talk about anything before you feel ready. Your pace, boundaries, and sense of control are respected throughout the process.
Therapy with me often involves slowing things down, paying attention to emotional experience, and gently exploring patterns that may be influencing how you feel, relate, or respond to challenges. Alongside this deeper exploration, we also focus on practical, values-based steps that support meaningful change in your day-to-day life.
You can expect sessions to be non-judgmental, thoughtful, and grounded in warmth and curiosity. While therapy may sometimes feel challenging, it is held within a supportive relationship where you are not alone with what emerges.
